Profile description
Called to the Bar in October 1997; I was formerly at 1 Dr Johnson's Buildings and then Goldsmith Chambers; where I remain a door tenant.
I moved to Cornwall in 2008 and now practice as a sole practitioner, specialising in commercial law for small and medium size businesses. I am authorised by the Bar Standards Board to accept direct public access work. I also have extensive experience of military and media law. I have acted in numerous courts martial, and was a lecturer at the Ministry of Defence Specialist Training School.
I am a founder member of the Association of Military Court Advocates. I also provided pre publication advice to national newspapers. I am very interested in animal rights, and will certainly consider pro bono work for suitably worthy causes.
I also love art and music; and very much enjoy taking cases in these fields. I enjoy writing legal articles, and radio work. I was the presenter of "Legally Speaking" on Radio Exeter, and have appeared many times on BBC Cornwall discussing a variety of legal topics; some of which I actually knew something about.
