Civil and property litigation
Majeks has extensive experience in general civil litigation, company law, property law (incl. landlord and tenant), contract and debt claims, partnership and shareholder disputes, unfair prejudice, bankruptcy, insolvency and all manner of injunctive applications before the High Court. He also deals with landlord and tenant law (commercial and residential), possession and repossession claims and wider property law claims including rent arrears, harassment, nuisance, anti-social behavour, disrepair, dilapidations and deposit protection scheme matters.
As part of his commercial practice, Majeks has advised international businesses and governments in the aviation and oil and gas industries, where he has over 10 years of experience, and provides professional training in the law for executives working in those industries. Majeks accepts instructions from commercial clients to provide drafting in relation to non-contentious requirements, including contracts, shareholder agreements, partnership agreements and general terms and conditions. Before becoming a barrister, Majeks spent time working in the motor trade; experience which makes him ideally-placed to assist clients with all manner of vehicle-related claims.
He has lectured law at both undergraduate and postgraduate level at leading UK universities for a number of years, and has a long-standing interest in company, corporate and commercial law. He also taught international business law and US Law for over 5 years at Masters level.
Insolvency
Majeks lectured corporate and company law at professional master's for over 10 years, both nationally and internationally. He practices insolvency law (individual and corporate) and have acted for companies in bankruptcy matters including defending and bringing winding up and related proceedings in the Business and Property Courts.
Family law
Majeks accepts instructions to represent both Applicants and Respondents in Family proceedings, from ex parte (without notice) applications right through to final hearings; and can do so at short notice. His family practice cover the following areas:

In relation to matrimonial finance proceedings, Majeks accepts instructions to represent clients throughout the whole process, from FDA, FDR to Final Hearings, including interim application hearings.
Employment Law
Majeks offers extensive experience of employment law and accepts instructions to advise and represent a range of clients including private individuals, commercial enterprises and local authorities. His Respondent clients have included national airlines, schools and universities and local authorities. He has recent experience of a wide variety of employment law claims in the Employment Tribunal, including:
- Unfair and constructive dismissal
- Discrimination claims (including disability, race and gender)
- Equality Act
- Redundancy
- Breach of contract
- Whistleblowing
Majeks can assist with employment law disputes from the very outset, advising on merits, quantum and early settlement. He can draft pleadings and other core documents and can be instructed to represent clients in hearings throughout proceedings from initial preliminary hearings through to contested multi-day final hearings. Majeks has also appeared in the Employment Appeals Tribunal (EAT) on a number of occasions.
In addition to his Employment Tribunal practice, Majeks also deals with breach of contract claims arising out of employment disputes in the County Court and the High Court.

Majeks deals with a variety of School and university academic appeals, fitness to practice and academic misconduct, academic and non-academic complaints
Crime and regulatory offences
Majeks accepts instructions to advise and represent clients in relation to a wide range of criminal proceedings (including motoring offences and criminal charges of a more serious nature). He has a particular focus on white collar and regulatory criminal proceedings, including licensing and defending clients faced with prosecution by local authorities and a range of regulatory bodies.
In court, Majeks is known for his compassionate but no nonsense approach to the law. He is a barrister with a winning mentality who is quick on his feet, and a passionate advocate who is not afraid to tackle obscure or uncharted points in the law. Majeks has an LLB (Hons) degree, an LLM, and holds a Certificate in Law Teaching, both from University College London (UCL,) and he is also a trained mediator. Outside of the law, Majeks is the Co-Founder of Professors Without Borders, a charity dedicated to providing further education to students and professionals in emerging economies. He is a classical music singer and is a member of a classical male voice choir. He is also into sports and loves watching football and basketball.
